SHE'S BACK!!!!!!

THANK YOU to everybody who left such positive, hopeful comments!  Bella waltzed in this morning, a little thinner, but absolutely fine!  She was quite lovable and happy to see me. We had a talk. For those of you who don't have a serious love connection with your pets, just ignore this next part.  You may think I'm looney :-)
Apparently Bella thinks its very unfair of me to expect her to stay in at night, especially when it's about 85 degrees inside the house. And I should not use sneaky tricks to get her in either. I guess I'm supposed to rest assured that she is perfectly safe in the wilds of Ellington in the wee hours of the night, even considering that coyotes live in the apple orchard down the street.
She has asserted her freedom by taking a vacation down by the lake for the last week. She also decided to make it clear that the house is too warm by napping in the bathtub...the coolest place in the house.
Tired Bella after a week long vacation, then lots of loving and treats.
At least she's home!!!

  1. Excuse me for shouting, but I AM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!! Since I am an indoor-only kitty and only a little bit curious about the outdoors, I don't understand how Bella can just take off like that. But I am so glad she is back now! I think all our purrs helped her realize how much you missed her.
