I Live In A House Full Of Murderers

I love my cats. They are fun, cute, cuddly, lovable, and have unique adorable personalities. But why do they have to KILL so many little critters? Not only do they kill them, but they get the most intense pleasure out of throwing them around and tormenting them first. They bring home moles and mice EVERY day, and chipmunks occasionally. They even each have their own little "pleasure chirp" to announce lunch is at the doorstep.
I'm so glad they don't catch birds! The birds around here are too cat smart, they know exactly how to avoid or intimidate cats.

  1. Are humans any less killers when they buy chicken or beef at the market? Once removed does not absolve you guys from blame! At least we kitties are keeping it real. And your kitties even want to share with you!

  2. my cats don't get the chance to bring home moles and mice as they are house-bound, but they hunt spiders and any other bug that gets into the house. I find spiders all the time without any legs so you know they were tortured before they died.

  3. That's why we do not allow harvey out at all. he has been an indoor cat for the past 18 years and we are not about to change that now.he was someone's castoff and found his way to our condo, and our hearts.

  4. WE have the same thing around here but including birds. One day I was on the computer and wasn't paying much attention to the comings and goings of the cats, and for some reason looked over at the cat on the kitchen floor and he had a bird. I was able to rescue the bird and hopefully it made it all right. Sparkle is so correct.
