Taco

I can't believe he's gone. I keep imagining him running across the yard to the door.  How can he just dissapear?
I suppose there are coyotes and fishers here though no one has ever seen any and no other cats have gone missing, there are five other cats that have been living here for years, plus my four.  Why would they pick Taco? Wouldn't I hear something? Wouldn't my other cats run home scared and be afraid to go back out?
If he went into someone's house, I KNOW he would sneak out the first time the door opened.  Plus I've left notes on everyone's door and talked to a lot of people. Everyone within a mile radius knows he's our cat and how to contact us.
I don't understand how he could just vanish.
